Volunteer Coordinator

Are you looking to get involved at NES? Meet new parents? Get to know NES staff? Work from home? Then consider being our next Volunteer Coordinator. It’s a very low-key volunteer position that involves working with event chairs to staff NES PTA events. We use Signup Genius as our volunteer management tool; its a very easy program to learn and navigate.

Communications Coordinator

Coordinate all communications between staff and community. This includes working with PTA officers and school administration to publicize PTA news via school, Facebook and the web.

Treasurer

Have a little time to spare to maintain the PTA’s accounts? We need a treasurer who can keep our expenses and earnings straight. Training is available.

Restaurant Fundraiser

Many local restaurants will work with our PTA to host fundraising events. Typically the restaurant will give a percentage of sales on a particular day to our PTA. We need someone to contact restaurants, choose dates, and help publicize. Training from the current coordinator is available. This is a fun job that can be done on your schedule, day or night—and these events are always fun ways to see friends and staff outside of school.
