We have some officers slated but need more leaders for the PTA for the next school year. Melissa Giusto has accepted a nomination as PTA President and Heather DePaolo will continue as a Vice President of Community Events.

Our current board members have each served the NES PTA for four years and in that time have developed systems and instructions for making PTA business run efficiently. The next set of leaders will also be able to receive ongoing guidance from the outgoing board members if they want it. There are already volunteers in place to lead most of the PTA events next year.

We are actively seeking people for these PTA roles :

Vice President/Volunteer Coordinator—help identify the needs to staff events and activities and actively recruit helpers

Vice President/Communications Director –writes newsletter articles and school wide emails, works with web site coordinator, assists in creating flyers with volunteer designers

Treasurer –maintains PTA accounts

Secretary—records PTA activity and supports other roles
