The gardens at NES are coming alive, thanks to Michelle Walsh and the NES Grows committee. This week, some classes went outside to clean the beds, plant seeds, and transplant seedlings.

Some students in grades 6, 4 and 1 plus Mrs. Marcolini and Mrs. Wotton’s students started strawberries, cabbage, brussels sprouts, kale, cauliflower, swiss chard, carrots, potatoes, peas, beets, onions, broccoli, and lettuce. The students enjoyed finding lots of worms!
